STATE SEMIFINAL
Hilliard Davidson 10 Cincinnati
Colerain 6
The Wildcats capitalized on
the Cardinals mental errors to hand nationally ranked Cincinnati
Colerain their first loss of the season.
After Colerain forced the Wildcats
into four straight three-and-outs, Ohio State-bound Eugene
Clifford let a punt bounce down to the Cardinals' 1 yard line.
With 6:39 left in the first quarter Drew Dolder tackled Quarterback
Doug Reynolds in the end zone for a safety. The momentum took
another turn in Davidsons' favor in the third quarter, when
JB Strahler recovered a fumble at the Colerain 42 and the
Offense put together an eight play drive ending with Bo Delande
in the end zone. Colerain made their last attempt at a score
with a Reynolds to Clifford pass at the end of the 4th but
it was to little to late. The Hilliard Davidson Wildcats have
punched their ticket to the big show!
Scoring: Dolder:
Tackled Quarterback in the endzone for a safety. Delande:
